How dare you? You challenge the academic status quo!!! That cannot happen on this campus, we believe in academic freedom!!!

War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.
Ignorance is strength.

Screw YAF! We want YAL!

By the way, there's other types of "discrimination" too.

They seem to have a legitimate beef in this case. The Muslim Student Union was being disruptive of a guest speaker, according to the report. Assuming that is true, then the University had a good reason to suspend their privileges. Universities are places for logical debate and mutually respectful attitudes, and universities have a right to suspend groups or individuals who disrupt that environment. The same goes for Christian students. Setting up a booth contributed to the debate. Yelling at guest speakers disrupted the environment.

They might, but what comes around goes around. And the YAF speaker at CPAC didn't make many friends here.

I am defending everyone's free speech and academic freedom here.

First amendment should apply to any institution that is public or gets public funding.

I don't really understand whats going on here, but I just want to say that the "anti-Obama" message is a bait and switch position, luring voters to think a solution or partial solution is replacing Obama with, well, anyone. This is why Ron Paul never emphasizes any "anti-" positions, but rather expresses his faith and support of what he believes in. This is the blue print of challenging people without threatening them. This is the blue print that makes Ron Paul so successful at school campuses. I wish these guys took notes.

At some level you have to stop worrying about what your right is, and deal with the environment you are in, and what the best course of action is to influence and persuade the people around you.
