National Democrats have portrayed Angle as evidence that the Republican Party has been co-opted by extreme elements. But Angle cited several current members of Congress including Sens. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) and Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) and Reps. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) and Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) as legislators who "already think like I do."

First post says National Democrats portray Angle as extreme right . She says she thinks like Pence . So , National Democrats think Pence is extreme right ? I understand some people would have a problem with social conservitism ( abortion ) ( Bachman ... etc ) , but that is a states rights issue .

What the Dems did not have a problem with was adding the carmakers and health care to govt. roll which now exceeds more than 50 % of the economy. That is slightly more than the European socialist democracies. Health care was nearly 20 % by itself . Marxists .

But yeah, I'd say from most Democrat's perspective all the Republicans in that list are considered "extreme right."

Now they are working to screw you on your utility bills ( cap and trade ) , that should get them close to 70 % of the economy , and they are just getting started .

It's a partisan thing.

Also, he's pretty good at covering over his big government record with making sure that he gets some high profile time in front of cameras any time he does veer to the right of the GOP establishment, such as when he opposed the Economic Recovery Act in 2008. I'd say he's a really good example of a Republican who fits in really well with the establishment but succeeds at making anti-establishment conservatives (especially social conservatives) think he's one of them at the same time.

Yes it must be partisan , I would not consider him extreme. His home state voted 51 % for Obama , Pence is the most popular national level politician in the entire state .
