I've been looking at some budget sites on the UKs budget but it says that the amount of money is around the £600 Billion a year...

However i've heard that the UK bailed out the banks for about £850 Billion. (http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/163850bn-official-cost-of-the-bank-bailout-1833830.html)

If this is so then the official numbers are clearly not correct. So how do I calculate the total cost of the UK budget?

Thanks
