Hey guys, I'm from Fairfield County CT which is a huge commuter area, and I think this strategy may work for others in the 'burbs as well. My meetup group got together with a bunch of slim jims and flyers and hit the big commuter train stations at 6 AM, and stayed until 7. We were able to talk to 3 different groups of people (3 trains left in the hour) and give them material.

I think this will be particularly effective because when you get on the train in the morning, you just sit there for an hour. Why not let people sit there and think about Ron Paul!

P.S. you may need to get permission from the transit police (MTA/CONN-DOT in my case) before going to any big hub stations.

Good idea - and it's a captive audience while they're waiting and on the train afterwards while they have the slimjims to read...

Wonderful, much better than them thinking about last nite's football game or something. Probably not a better thing they could be thinking about on the ride.
