Pricing goods in greenbacks, they argued, was unfair. Many countries earn their income from finite resources like oil and other minerals, they said, while the U.S. and other countries can crank up their printing presses to pay for them—especially after Richard Nixon helped break the Western world's historical dependence on gold as a measure of value by taking America off the gold standard in 1971.

Last month, Mr. Vadillo's solution took shape when the local Muslim-led government in Malaysia's Kelantan state joined forces with Mr. Vadillo to introduce Islamic-style gold dinar coins as alternative currency.

Looks like "Malaysia" might be committing a despicable terrorist act sometime soon.

Monetary policy, as stale as it seems on the outside, is the jugular to US/Western/NWO power. And having the world's reserve currency is the linchpin to it, which in turn is substantially supported by the fact that oil is bought and sold by OPEC countries only in dollars (gives a pretty good reason to stash dollars in your forex reserves). Saddam screwed with they system in 3 ways and look what happened to him, from trusted puppet to the most evil dictator in the world and then invaded and occupied (of course there were other reasons too).

1. Saddam refused the same offer made to the Saudi, (regime security from the US in exchange for promoting dollars in oil trades).

2. He eventually not only refused to promote dollar only oil trades, but later actively shunned it and promoted trading in non-dollar currencies.

3. His invasion of Kuwait and threatened invasion of eastern Saudi Arabia (where most of the oil is located) would have given him indisputable control of too much oil and thus could influence how it was traded. Essentially, in the US view, he was aiming at the jugular of their global power structure.

We should be vigilant as Malaysia (a Muslim and therefore easily demonized to the brainwashed masses) attempts to tinker with an alternative to the dollar. We may wake up to discover they have the most horrible dictator in the world with a terrible human rights record and developing WMD and supporting Hamas/Hezbollah and therefor in urgent need of US sponsored regime change is how the script would read I recon.

I got sooo happy when I read about this and yet so sad, because if the experiment goes well then our next "enemy" could be the poor Malaysians.
