I'm hesitant to watch anything TED related..almost 99% of the "solutions" they come up with involve the State on some level.

Yeah, I hear you. In this one she argues how less IP laws equal more creativity and increases the bottom line. I think the only "suggestion" she makes is not to let the lawyers be the only voices deciding these issues...

Wow, a rare TED talk that doesn’t end in the speaker calling for technocratic utilitarianism. Jeffery Tucker talks about the fashion industry in his talk on The Evils of Intellectual Property (http://mises.org/media/4255).

Wow that is easily the best TED video I've seen. Very well done, thanks for sharing. One of the best arguments against IP I've seen in awhile.

Has anyone studied in depth about this type of stuff? I got really interested a couple months ago about Creative Commons and the future of copyright. It' a topic that sounds really boring, but is actually quite interesting.
