NAACP launches coalition watchdog site to 'monitor' Tea Party 'racists'
The NAACP partnered with Media Matters, Think Progress and New Left Media to launch*teapartytracker.org, a website that will specifically publish and monitor “racism and other forms of extremism within the Tea Party movement.”

Media Matters and Think Progress representatives said their content and reporting haven’t changed and that the NAACP approached their organizations seeking only to republish select content they’ve produced. The NAACP’s new teapartytracker.org is aimed specifically at highlighting “racism” in the Tea Party. ...

I checked out their site and found their "Eyewitness" Gallery includes a photo of 3 obvious Ron Paul supporters holding 3 signs stating the following:

"Google Young Americans for Liberty"

"Bailouts = ^ Taxes + inflation"

and

The photo has been cropped to obscure Ron Paul's full name and and what it is that he endorses on the 3rd sign!

This is being promoted as evidence of 'extremism" and/or "racism"!!!

Here are photos from their photo stream (scroll down):

Interesting. Did you notice the fact that this flickr group is open meaning anybody can post whatever they want? From the "teapartytracker" website:

See photos of Tea Party extremism from around the country. To submit your own photos, click here.

Forget the "they're out to get us" conspiracy theory for a moment and think about the implications. You can sign up using your flickr account and post images like this:

http://www.unitedstatesliberty.com/images/products/winter_ross_charlton_report_obama_bush_on_steroids 300.jpg

Of course if you want to be honest about this you need to have the courage to show up at a tea party rally with the above sign.

That said, some of the pics people have posted don't even come close to being "extremism". Not unless you're against red white and blue hats. Also note that the YAL pic isn't captioned like some of the other pictures are.

Well I guess I am racist for wanting to keep my money, let people own their own bodies, and to do away with the police state. Go figure.

Anyone who doesn't support Socialism, Social Justice, or the Redistribution of Wealth is a Racist. (according to Civil Rights Activists).

Examples:

Martin Luther King III (Socialist) vs. Alveda King (Capitalist)

Well,

I think a reverse website that calls out the "real racist" groups out would be nice...
ala...

NAACP
SPLC
Council of La Raza

etc....

and note actual "factual racist" items..... Fight fire with fire.

I think the NAACP has lost credibility with most of the base . By being what they have become , they will continue to become irrelevent to all . Good .
