There are a lot of idle libel threats in politics, but Jeff Greene's appears not to have been among them.
As Haberman notes, " it's a long road between filing a libel suit and actually winning one — but it's also an expensive headache to fight against, which Greene is clearly aware of as he starts settling scores."
The media is so biased when it comes to political reporting, I kind of hope he ends up costing them a lot of money.
The two papers getting sued are the St. Petersburg Times and the Miami Herald.
