Downsize DC may soon close down to lack of funds.

Here are things you can do to make sure this doesn't happen:

1. Become a facebook fan: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1334371205
2. Follow on Twitter: http://twitter.com/DDCDispatch
3. Sign up at http://www.downsizedc.org
4. Most importantly - DONATE

I understand that we are all financially strained; however, DownsizeDC is an important tool as it provides a method for keep elected officials accountable AFTER the election season.

Please consider donating to keep this great resource going.

They run campaigns for things like read the bill act, write the bills act, no obamacare, etc. and provide tools to easily contact (e-mail) your representatives with a basic message that you can add to.

They are short $6,400 IIRC - umm, they raised 1,000$ and need to remaining $5,400.

Correct; you can use their tools to mail representatives very quickly on a whole slew of liberty-related issues.

They've already raised a bit over $1,100 dollars.

I've often used DownsizeDC (and their bills) during canvassing... I can't afford any donations, at this time, but certainly support them...

In their message yesterday, they indicated that recurring donations, even small ones were more useful than bulk donations as they allowed them to budget. Getting set up to give them $5 or $10 a month would really help, even if you can't start for a month.

Givv (http://givv.org/recipients/downsize-dc) is a good way to give to DownsizeDC.
