Few people in America provoke more racism and hate than Al Sharpton. I think MLK would be more ashamed of him than anyone else. Race baiting is not how you end racism.

Although Glenn Beck should have definitely moved the day he did that rally...

Why? Its not as if his message (or lack thereof) dishonored MLKs. Thats the same sort of mentality that leads people to demand the NYC Mosque be moved.

I see your point. But Beck cant do bipartisan no matter how hard he tries. And I also think hes REALLY full of himself.

Um why exactly, and what is your idea of Bipartisan..I'd love to hear it.

I dont know how to define bipartisan. But perhaps I can define what it isnt. Anything where someone advertises themselves as some sort of leader when their political bias is what theyre famous for.

So it was nothing he said in particular at the rally then...you were just tossing out your perception of him from the past...gotcha

It's really getting worn out at the rpf about how the democrats are always race baiting, when there is proof Glen Beck is a racist too.

How is it racist comparing black Americans to the founding fathers?

Its racist to call another person racist? Whether Beck was right or wrong in calling the President a racist is beside the point, you can be wrong and still not be racist.

Its so goddamn silly, Beck calls Obama a racist, Obama supporters call Beck a racist right back. Whats next, saying "I know you are but what am I?" How about "Im rubber and you're glue"?

Whats even more troublesome is that that argument resonates with so many Americans!

God help us.

Fox News host Glenn Beck said Sunday that he misspoke last year when he characterized President Obama as a racist.

"I have a big fat mouth sometimes and I say things," Beck said during an interview with Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace.

Beck last year accused the president of possessing a "deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture," during an appearance on Fox News, adding, "this guy is, I believe, a racist."

But this Sunday, when Wallace asked Beck if he regretted making those comments, Beck responded: "Of course I do."

So he regrets it, but was it racist in the first place?

I saw 1:30 of that video and saw no "shocking racism" let alone racism. Maybe I missed it, but regardless, people just need to STFU about accusations of racism. I'm convinced most people no longer understand what it even means. Its pathetic. I think even these black panthers who claim they are racist are just dumbasses looking for an outlet. True racism is embedded in your world view. And its sad because there are real racists and people who suffer through racism, but these people are drowned out by those who use racism for its shock value, as a sort of publicity stunt.

Nah... not a big fan of Beck and his "look at me! buy my stuff!" rally, but the date is what I liked most about the rally... not because it may start shit between races or anything, but because it goes AGAINST racism... this is a rally that blacks and whites can be hand in hand at... most rallies on this day are just where black people go... I think that part of it was the best part...

Well said. I completely agree.
