I commented in there a couple days ago. :)

He's by far the most requested guest ever on the daily show board. :D I wonder if that will actually help get him on?

The forum appears to be down right now.

Super lame with the fake casual conversation in the first pages of the thread. All the people had less than five posts, they obviously signed up to push the idea of having Stephan on the show. The Daily Show staff will realize that.

That said, he and Jon would have an interesting conversation.

hard to believe it will happen.

It looks like the same thing for other guest suggestions too.

I hoped from page 1 to 8 to 11.

The highest post count I saw was 8 posts. Most had 1-2.

It would be really surprising if this actually does get him on, but it can't hurt to make a comment or 2. If we got it up to 1000 posts or something huge like that, they might finally cave. Or not. Worth a shot though.

I'd rather see Schiff on again. Stephan looks and sounds like a snob.

It would be great to get him. Or on Rachel Maddow's show. :D

The producers of these shows don't put people on just because they think they're interesting. The guests have to be in the news or plugging some product and the product usually has some kind of money behind it.

Not necessarily. They sometimes have "analysts" and "specialists" on-at least they did when I was a regular TV watcher.

Definitely make a comment if you have a few minutes to spare, and enjoy stefan's work. It could help. :)

Well he has books, but kinda gives them away for free (last time I checked anyways).
Running the most popular philosophy/politic podcast gives him some "name power"?

But yeah I can't see it happening.

I really can't imagine Stefan on a mainstream show like The Daily Show LOL. My guess is that he would stoop to the statist level of Stewart and crack jokes and maybe slip in some anarchist philosophy into the conversation and shock the audience and Jon Stewart haha... much like when Ron Paul at the debates mentioned the Us government's policy of interventionism caused the 9/11 attacks there were snears and mixed applauses and boos.

For what? The guy is fucking incredible, John should be begging to interview with him. If the idea is to get anarchism to reach a greater audience, well that's just stupid. American's are too fucking stupid to handle that.

I think the idea is

1. It would be a great entertaining interview that most people would enjoy. They both have good, humerous personalities.

2. The exposure, could definitely trigger an increase in discussion and debate around things that stefan likes to discuss, such as the Non-Aggression Principle.

I don't think people expect Stefan to go on there and convert a bunch of people to Anarchism or anything like that.
