A few days ago the EPA opened public comment on a petition by conservation groups to ban lead bullets country wide, regardless of EPA's apparent lack of jurisdiction over amunition. Rand Paul came out against the petition, and against EPA regulation of amunition. Shortly after this was publicized, EPA did a 180 and denied the petition, only 2 days into their comment period. Elephants in the Blue Grass was amongst those who covered the issue.
I hadn't even heard the issue was open until Rand came out against it, and obviously, he was on the right side.
