Funny! (jackass like Huckabee-what a character that guy was) First I saw that clip.

I wish I had a link to a different interview where Paul touched on it.

He said that when he was younger, and it looked like he would proabably be drafted, he said he didn't think he could shoot anyone himself. He liked the idea of healing and helping people instead which is what got him into medicine.

He said, he wanted to become a Forest Ranger prior to that decision.
