I was just browsing the Fox Business App on my ipad and noticed this video on the front page. Gene defends and promotes Capitalism, and even advocates letting private companies run the government "like a business".

Interesting to say the least. :)

It's on the front page now, I can't seem to find a direct link... http://www.foxbusiness.com/index.html

Edit: Here's a direct link http://video.foxbusiness.com/v/4321895/gene-simmons-vs-the-fed/

The Fed is a prime example of private companies running the government "like a business".

I guess that Gene simply has yet to figure out that no one should have a state imposed monopoly over the monetary system, including the state itself.

Simmons has also described himself as a supporter of the foreign policy of the George W. Bush administration.[5] He supported the 2003 invasion of Iraq, writing on his website: "I'm ashamed to be surrounded by people calling themselves liberal who are, in my opinion, spitting on the graves of brave American soldiers who gave their life to fight a war that wasn't theirs...in a country they've never been to... simply to liberate the people therein

From wikipedia, so I doubt that he would endorse Ron Paul unless he has a change of heart concerning foreign policy. His attack on the FED is good though

Correct. He's said such things on his show "Family Jewels" numerous times as well, and it's mostly the reason why I dont watch it anymore.

He also rabidly supports Israel and everything they do, he is Jewish after all(notthat the Jewish part really matters, just saying).
