Never heard of it before, but just saw it in the back of my neighbor's car so i looked it up.
It has a picture of Marx arm wrestling with a Rockefeller. The caption is "To Prepare For Life in Capitalist America. A game for kids 8 to 80."
Quite insane that there was a board game teaching Socialism. It came out in the 1970's and was supposed to be the opposite of Monopoly, with the goal being "Revolution" apparently.
Anyone heard of, or played this?
"Class Struggle" reflects the real struggle between the classes in our society. THE OBJECT OF THE GAME IS TO WIN THE REVOLUTION...ULTIMATELY. Until then, classes--represented by different players--advance around the board, making and breaking alliances, and picking up strengths and weaknesses that determine the outcome of the elections and general strikes which occur along the way.
