Is Wyoming Activism Urgent? (Delegates)

In 2008, I remember that Romney took ALL the delegates in Wyoming, even though the region was very sympathetic to Ron Paul. When I asked why, people said that they have a long an drawn out Republican convention process that takes years to complete, and Romney had secured all the positions long before we even thought of it.

If that is true, it would mean that our people would have to register Republican and get involved in the convention process right away.

Does anyone actually from Wyoming know the details, and is willing and able to organize this?

Let's just say if you are from Wyoming, and haven't registered as a Republican yet or know when the local precinct caucus or county meetings are, do it now.

Badger Paul is correct. The local precinct caucuses are used to determine who the delegates to the county caucus are. You need to become a delegate at your local precinct caucus to even be able to participate in the county caucus which determines which candidates receive delegates.

If I remember correctly, the Wyoming GOP and the RNC had a disagreement over the date of the caucus and Wyoming lost some delegates.

What this tells me is that we have to start right now. As Patrick Henry said: "Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? CFL most likely has a database of e-mails of all Wyoming donors and supporters. Check there first.
