It looks like the Rand Paul campaign staff may have to file a restraining order on the "gotcha" media:

I guess we should expect another hit piece soon, since we have a liberal from San Fransisco trying to smear a conservative in Kentucky.

I willing to bet Mother Jones won't mention that Jack Conway panders to the right.

Yeah, looks like he came to Kentucky to put us down as well.

Tried to snap photo at #randpaul booth at KY state fair. All Paul staff fled! This guy is really full of himself, isn't he? I mean, does anybody really believe this?

Well, somehow he ended up at Take Back Kentucky today, and talked to a lot of folks. If he's against us, I'm sure he got some nice soundbites to twist.

He seemed like a nice enough guy, but upon reviewing the articles they've written on Ron Paul, I don't hold out much hope. It'll probably just be another smear...

Was http://twitter.com/jimhigdon/status/21693072691 with him?

"@JoshHarkinson Are you in Kentucky? Drive to Lebanon. I'll show you around."

No... pretty sure I'd have noticed.

Thanks Malachi.

Well, we know they are going to come out with some nonsense or other, every few days until November.

Hm. Guess I can delete the signature, now...

Yes, I sent this guy a tweet because I have the same concerns as you here. Another drive-by hit piece. I was hoping to provide him with some context and dissuade him of what surely will be the thinnest of understandings about Bluegrass politics.

Of course, my concern first is how Kentucky is presented in a story like this, as he's likely to lump a bunch of thread-bare Kentucky stereotypes into a bunch of thread-bare tea party stereotypes.

Anyway, yes I sent him a tweet, and got no reply. I, like you, await an unflattering hit piece from this guy.
