Okay, let's look forward. Anybody get a chance to gauge Schiff's attitude toward 2012? Is he blaming lack or support or McMahon's bottomless wallet for his failures in 2010? Any insiders know if this is a sub forum that should stay on the main page or get archived?

He's on the radio today at 3, maybe he'll talk about it. It's streaming at

I'd say it is a 92.7% chance Pete runs again in 2012.

There's a very good chance we can persuade him to run again. He seems very open to it in his final thoughts video blog.

The key I think, will be whether Schiff stays engaged in political circles over the next year. If he recedes to the talk shows and managing his funds, then he'd be starting from scratch again.

This is someone who views his father as a political prisoner of the government. He's probably fairly motivated to give it another try.

He won't run if doesn't think he has the support.

It is very important for this man to be part of the government if we don't want to invoke the Declaration of Independence.

I would love to see Peter Schiff defeat Joe Lieberman, my absolute least favorite Senator, a corrupt Zionist, warmongering scumbag and a "moderate", which means he supports government intervention both at home and overseas.

After surprise showing, will Peter Schiff take on Lieberman? (http://www.investmentnews.com/article/20100811/FREE/100819985)

"According to a report on web site CTNewsJunkie, Mr. Schiff said: “The good news is that Joe Lieberman is almost as unpopular [as current Senator Chris Dodd]. I am going to keep an open mind.”
