Bump! Man, it would be great if he pulled off the upset.

Rooting for him, but in the event he loses we simply regroup and try again. Persistence is the only way to make gains. You can't get bitter, just be persistent and challenge every primary.

I do not know what the person who wrote the Politico article today on what to watch for in the primary was thinking, but his analysis of the Senate Race and the 3rd CD race is skewed quite a bit by something. Apparently, Rossi is going to get around 45% (a near impossibility), Didier is a distant long-shot on par with Akers (Akers will be in the low to mid single digits, while I expect Didier to be in the high teens, but still a loser, sadly). Also, the GOP race in the 3rd is between Herrara and Castillo, whose biggest supporters in his own hometown are now supporting Hedrick, who is the real competition for Herrara, and who I expect to come in 2nd place.

Didier would have won if he had another month or two. Momentum didn't pick up fast enough. I hope he takes it by surprise though.

So far the results are shameful.. Why do they teach people to go out and vote? I'd rather the idiots who were taught to simply go and vote STAY HOME while the people who actually care about changing things vote. :(

Yep, it's disgusting. For the most part, the sheeple do what the media tell them to do. "Here's your "best" Republican, here's your "best" Democrat, now go vote."

hopefully Rossi won't run if he loses. i agree with your sentiments 100%

btw - i spoke with Mr. Didier and told him i was impressed that he had RP's endorsement. he immediately mentioned the Palin endorsement and seemed more proud of that.

later i asked him who the toughest hog was. his answer was Russ Grimm in case anyone cares, because Grimm played a game the same week he had surgery.

at least this year i know that i finally voted for one winner: me (running uncontested for a republican precinct committe officer)

more WA election results (not the best) http://www.kxly.com/politics/21511416/detail.html

looks like Sanders (a super stud judge) will be in a runoff in November.

Looks like I'll be voting for Democrats in the General.

Heck for Congress
Murray for Senate

Hope for better choices next time.

I'd rather have the peaceful socialists than the warmongering fascists any day.

Endless war is much worse than economic folly.

Didier likes to tout his Sarah Palin endorsement because, I think, he thinks Palin's endorsement will earn him more support. That might be true, but I also think it alienates more supporters. I think he should have ran as his own man, and that what might have been the problem with his momentum is that he was running for a lot of the race as the Palin/Paul Tea Party guy, Clint Didier, as opposed to Clint Didier, who supports the Tea Party. He also did not get near enough money early enough. If he could have gotten $500K in January-March, and would have had as much popularity as he does now, I doubt Rossi would have even ran.

I lost my PCO race, primarily because I did not campaign because I am moving outside of the precinct.

not to criticize your choice here, but you must keep in mind that Murray has voted for war constantly, has a history of voting for war, loves to brag about steering money toward the military industrial complex in Wa State, etc. not to mention she voted for TARP, the Patriot Act, and just about every clusterf#cked bit of legislation that she can.

don't get me wrong, i'll probably write in Didier or myself, but to call Murray a "peaceful socialist" is an inaccurate portrayal of this warmonger bitch, in my opinion.

I would vote Rossi just to give Demint a chance at majority leader and the possiblity of another audit of the FED. I seriously can't believe people are still calling the democrats peaceful?? The democrats have been in solid control of the congress for 3 and half years. The wars are getting bigger. Those that are calling the democrats peaceful are the same type that would award Obama the peace prize just because he is a democrat.

The only thing I disagree with is the use of the term "inaccurate portrayal." That is a bit mild when someone calls Murray a "peaceful socialist." Probably closer to "downright wrong" than "inaccurate portrayal."

I intend on writing in "Resurrect Goldwater" for Senate.

So it looks like Mr. Didier ended up with 113,908 votes. Not bad. Ron Paul garnered 40,539 from Washington state back in the 2008 primary. I think its safe to say most people who voted for Clint would also vote for Ron. That is a welcome sign, though still not enough to win the state.
