Who was it, remind me, who was ahead of the curve on this? Who was it who called on her to gently appeal to the legalization crowd weeks before she ended up dropping that mini-bombshell on Napolitano’s show about marijuana laws being overenforced?

C’mon. I have, like, three good ideas a year. Give a man some props.

Among Republicans who say they’ve smoked Marijuana:
Palin 25
Gingrich 22
Huckabee 17
Romney 17
Paul 8

Among Republicans who say they have not smoked Marijuana:
Huckabee 24
Romney 23
Gingrich 21
Palin 21
Paul 3

Really? Interesting. I didn't think it was possible to smoke enough pot to take her seriously.

HOT AIR, FREE REPUBLIC = PALIN CENTRAL

You'll be amazed to see how many of the commentators hail W as a great president on those sites.

She was basically saying that she would implement a policy that would consist of looking the other way..."out of sight out of mind" kind of thing. But with all the PDS and Modal-libertarianism going on most people dont get it.

Furthermore Palin had no problems admiting she smoked pot and there is myspace messages of her daughter saying that her brother sniched that she was a pot-smoker and that she was going to "kick him in the balls" for that. She didnt seemed very worried about the consequences clearly indicating that Palin would just repremend her a bit.

Search "Bristol Palin Myspace" or something along those lines...

They miss the bigger point -- Ron Paul's numbers almost triple from those who don't smoke.

Lmao. I like the results.

Ron Paul's are the lowest in admitting to smoking pot, yet are also the lowest in admitting they've never smoked pot. I wonder what that shows :P.

the gop is screwed either way! kinda shows that marijuana doesn't cause stupidity, the gop does!! maybe the gop is the gateway to big government not marijuana!!

I don't get it. Marijuana is supposed to be conducive to critical thinking skills.

How much Marijuana legalization legislation has each of those poll candidates drafted, sponsored, approved?

I find 2 things in that PPP pollster... one it's full of SHIT since Ron Paul is the only one in the group to endorse decriminalize POT and HEMP. Second, the people that responded to the poll, if unbiasedly accurate, have to be the most ignorant fools if they put all these losers ahead of Ron Paul. Let me correct that analogy... the pollster PPP are rigging the game ahead of time... look for 2012 to be a huge uphill battle against the money masters and their media avenues.

Que Sarah Sarah,
Whatever will be will be,
A lively prelude, fashioning the way,
On hard ice of Alaska far away,
Sadly the witch of Wasilla lay,
Blinding me with her rigid looks of faux chastity,
I need a fix!
Quick!
Pass the Marijoowana silly.

Free Republic, sure; but if you think Hot Air is 'Palin Central', you obviously don't read Hot Air very often. Allahpundit is widely known among the Palinistas as a 'Palin Hater' because he, you know, holds her to the same standards as any other politician.

Interesting comment here (http://www.cannabisculture.com/v2/node/23982):

I lived in Wasilla, Alaska for over 10 years (why does that town ring a bell) Sarah Palin was the mayor of that little town. She was elected Governor of the state by a landslide. (Hmm?) What does this have to do with weed? Very nearly all the people in Anchorage (half the state's population btw) goes to "The 'Silla" to get their weed...

I'm sure Republicans answered this poll with other issues in mind, like identity politics ("mama grizzly"), and glorious war.

AllahPundit maybe a Palin "hater" but Hot Air's readership is overwhelmingly crazy about Palin. Hence, the Palin Central tag.

Just because you smoke marijuana, doesn't mean you are for legalizing. Of course, more times than not people who smoke it do support it. I sense some hypocrisy in that people who say they are against often smoke it themselves.

Exactly. They even call her 'Sarah Cuda'. It's kind of disgusting.

Some of the pot smokers I know want to keep them illegal because they're also dealers ;)

Their sample was just 83 people so this is hardly an accurate poll, but still interesting nonetheless.

Some of the pot smokers I know want to keep them illegal because they're also dealers ;)

Which is why some of us refer to it as 'the new Prohibition'. The rumrunners spend untold amounts of money getting prohibitionists elected. They didn't want to go legit--not conducsive to their strongarm methods.

They also really, really hated paying taxes. Yet they loved bribing politicians through campaign contributions. I guess that's because there was less waste involved in the bribes than in the 'legitimate functions of government'...
