Finally, a report confirming what Muslims have known/been saying for a while...


There is a new report that came out last week that was put together by David Shanzer of Duke University, Charles Kurzman of North Carolina University and Ebrahim Moosa of Duke University, titled Anti-Terror Lessons of Muslim-Americans. It is an excellent report and a must read, that amongst other things finds that a majority of Muslims who commit terrorist acts have very little Islamic knowledge,

This study identified 139 Muslim-Americans with a linkage to terrorist violence between September 11, 2001, and December 31, 2009, an average of about 17 people per year. The dataset contains information about both the offenders and the nature of their activity. All but one of the offenders are men. Their average age is 28. Almost two-thirds (65%) are under 30.

This research confirmed what has been observed in other studies of Muslim terrorists: most of those who engage in religiously inspired terrorism have little formal training in Islam and, in fact, are poorly educated about Islam. Muslim- Americans with a strong, traditional religious training are far less likely to radicalize than those whose knowledge of Islam is incomplete.

Well the Kuran is against violence....but then again the Prophet Muhammad was a violent man. And then again in the Kuran you can find where it is perfectly fine and encouraged to use violence against infidels.

In any case if a person wants to commit an act of violence he can find a justification in the Kuran and if he wants to say violent acts are evil he can find a justification in the Kuran.

Except there are alot of highly educated terrorists that come from rich families, usually working for an intelligence agency of some sort. Most of the high profile ones, are actually educated if you research it.

The useful idiots may join a terrorist organization if they feel like they have nowhere else to go, and they are flat broke. Those guys usually end up in Gitmo or some secret torture prison.

Everyone who doesn't "get" what these so-called Islamic fundamentalists are, should watch "Terror in Mumbai". It was an HBO special, but I think you might be able to get it on dvd, or maybe online.

Anyway, it was a very good documentary, because they have all the cell phone conversations of the terrorists that killed 100+ Indian civilians, while they were doing the killing and talking with the organizers of the attack in Pakistan. They also gave the back-stories of the kids who did the shooting.

Basically what happens is you usually have a "real" likely state-sponsored or intelligence level terrorist operative who finds candidates for suicide missions. They get the fathers of poor families in rural Pakistan for instance to sell their kid, giving them usually more cash than they've ever seen, telling the father that he'll get a good job, etc. They then send these teenage boys to a "terrorist training camp" which is really a brainwashing indoctrination camp, where the do the same kind of psychological torture that Africans do to recruit teenage killers. They tell them that martyrdom is the greatest honor, that you'll be in heaven afterwards. They make you kill peasants, and pat you on the back so you don't have the normal guilt response when killing someone. When the kid is ready, they explain the mission, arm them and equip them with cell phones.

And this is the key part I learned from watching the documentary. These organizers who communicate with the actual attackers on the scene are constantly calling/directing/coaching these kids as they're doing the mission. Congratulating them, telling them when and how to shoot/kill hostages, telling them they need to throw more grenades, telling them to set stuff on fire so it looks good for the cameras. Constantly egging them on. At a few points in the documentary you can tell the kids want to stop killing or don't want to kill anymore, and the organizer was constantly badgering "why haven't you killed them yet?" - "we will, we will" - "kill them now, I want to hear you do it". Very cold and cowardly shit.

This is why people should watch this kind of shit. This has ZERO to do with religion. Religion is being used as a brainwashing tool by the real terrorists, and then again as a propaganda tool by the politicians of the victims. Along with humanity, religion itself is a victim in nearly all these cases.

Gang initiations in US, rogue militias using kids in Africa, the Mumbai terrorists. It's all sick fucking adults brainwashing children to do the evil they are to cowardly to do themselves.

EDIT: Forgot the whole point of why I wanted to post. It was the thread title, "A New Report Finds Most Terrorists Uneducated on Islam". I wanted to say Duh! They are fucking brainwashed kids that probably had a vague concept of religion like any teenager, then had it all twisted through brainwashing which likely included murder, drug use, videos of horrible americans living in luxury while their people suffer, and god knows what else. Of course they know jack about Islam. That is all.
