What a great piece. I have an inkling that Harwood might be a secret supporter. Let's just hope he doesn't pull a Tucker.

So nice to hear so much POSITIVE NEWS about Dr. Ron Paul, the best candidate since Thomas Jefferson.

of emails from dozens and dozens. I knew they would receive thousands. Just hold a normal debate with equal time and leave the polls online like a non biased organization would and there will be no need for emails or complaints. Report and and do not "opinion make".

He called Ron a gadlfy in the summation of his live blogging for the CNBC debate. I doubt it. F em, great responses by all made this clip with Scarborough possible.

Wow, wow, wow.

I would have liked to ask John Harwood about how many e-mails he gets about Rudy and Mitt (he mentioned only lower-tier folk when describing how his inbox was swamped).

Very nice testimonial from Joe S. regarding Ron Paul's intelligence and character.

I wrote him asking, as a man with a degree in computer science and being a web developer for 13 years now, if I could look at his poll code and database.

I guess my offer was lost in the flood of emails =D

I am NOT disappointed.

However, I don't believe JOE at all....JOE knows of Paul and what he stands for....he is only saying good things because they sense a lynching about to happen....otherwise it would be "BUSINESS AS USUAL" ....isn't it telling when a supposed "conservative" says that "libertarians" want to "get the gov. off their back"....

To me that shows something and the Republicans by and large are so far away from the principles they once held that they are now as "foreign" to them.

ONLY FEAR will bring LIBERTY.....hope these press guys are scared shitless.

Networks don't fear the mean emails they get. If this was true FOX news wouldn't be around anymore.

I believe wholeheartedly that Joe Scarborough was being 100% honest when talking about Dr. Paul.

Ehh, more or less fear at the lower levels will get some play. The real issue should be instilling fear at the highest levels. With people like Rupert Murdock, and those shadowy people with controlling interests in the FED. Though FEAR has it's own reaction, which is one thing I've been worried about since the beginning. EVERY person that has made it this far against the establishment blaring with a deceleration to remove them from their seat of power has been meet with violence. The establishment will NOT go down with out a fight. We must solidify our resolve, with our without Dr. Paul to invoke change in this country if we are to have any chance.

Sadly, sometimes this means fighting fire with fire.

I have been saying that Joe is a ron paul fan stuff for 5 months now, i heard "nah" "i dont know" and "whatever" everytime i said it

I get up everymorning early to watch this show, hes mentioned ron paul on his show an average of 3 times a week for the past several months.

I think that what really turned harwood around was not just getting thousands of emails, but getting thousands of intelligent emails from people not just saying stuff like "suck a dick john harwood" and stuff like that

sorry had to throw that in there

Hope

We should email both Joe Scarborough and John Hardwood with positive, warm thanks of this piece. We need to show them that we really do listen when they discuss Ron Paul in a fair manner. :)

Did you hear that "weve been dealing with this at cnbc for several weeks now.

Thousands and thousands and thousands of emails....

They are starting to fear us, I cant believe all of this is working....

Joe even stopped himself.."when i said Paul.. republicans thought he was crazy.. i mean hes brilliant... etc"

They are choosing their words very carefully now.

Keep. up. the. pressure.

This is too awesome for words.

Joe S. said Ron Paul doesn't play by the rules. What rules is he talking about?

The truth be told, everyone else in Congress doesn't play by the rules. Ron Paul is the only one who does.

The truth be told, everyone else in Congress doesn't play by the rules. Ron Paul is the only one who does.

He means the unwritten rules. Party loyalty, stand behind the President, compromise values to get things passed, etc.

Great stuff!

It is inspirational since it shows the difference the signs etc do make.

I'm not American so correct me if I'm wrong but CNBC is a big network - is that right? The impression I've got over the last week or two since the fundraising news is that the MSM are now paying attention - there seems to be a couple of new youtube vids a day taken from Fox, CNN, CNBC etc etc. For the average voter to keep seeing things like this will make RP seen mainstream. Every political campaign needs people thinking it will succeed, even those people who will vote for a candidate but aren't super committed like you guys - I think TV reaches these people.

NBC is the largest network, I'm pretty sure. What's more, it is owned by General Electric, which has a big stake in military contracts. I'm not about to charge NBC with extreme bias, but it certainly has an interest in minimizing Ron Paul as long as possible.

To be fair, their coverage of Ron Paul so far has been better than most.
