Tuned into the Judge tonight, and supportive as always. But what's with an idiot like Gasporino (sorry, don't know his name) referring to Ron Paul as the "crazy guy, I can't remember his name". The Judge corrected him, but do you guys think FOX is forcing these guests down the Judge's throat? Gaspo's ignorance of government and constitutional matters was amazing, and one could only wonder why this dud was given any time whatsoever or such a great show.
I did write to FOX Business:
Watched tonight's (8/11/10) show and the Judge is fabulous as always. My only complaint is there was some idiot (Gasparino, don't know his name) that debated with the Judge about the Federal Reserve; but was too focused at looking at himself in the mirror rather than facts to be a credible guest. This guy was on alone with the Judge debating the existence of the Federal Reserve, but so damn ignorant he didn't even know Ron Paul's name. Don't know where FOX or the Judge picked up this skid row bumb, but he certainly has no place even pretending he knows anything about the subject matter he was there for. FOX and the JUDGE need to throw him into sportscasting or something he has knowledge of... it certainly isn't politics.

Yeah, I was like "wtf, how can anyone not know who he is?" He was a jerk. I loved that Kennedy chick though. She reminds me of my sassy self.

[Charlie] Gasparino is a raging keynesian, and a typical MSM pundit. He thinks war and the military stimulate the economy... ... apparently no one ever told him about the broken window fallacy.
Napolitano, as always - was awesome. He should study Canada's banking system before and during the start of the Great Depression... *no central bank*, under a 'Free Banking' system with fractional reserve banking... and it had ZERO banking failures having to do with their banking system. There was one but it had to do with corruption and simply failed as a business.

Just sent this letter into FOX comments line. I love the Judge, but noooooooooooo way in my view he would have a mental midget like Gasporino on, if not forced to do so: The guy looking into the teleprompter or in the mirror the entire time on tonight's show, and answering every question the Judge threw at him with a question back to the Judge. This dude is a prick, and noooooooooooooooooo way I believe the Judge voluntarily invited this loser onto his show tonight. And referring to Ron Paul as the "I don't remember the guy's name".
My letter to FAUX:
"Love the show and watch the Judge everytime he is on. But suggestion, please don't put on ignoramus guests like Gasporano (or whatever his name is). So far the Judge is drawing in large audiences, so don't know if your station is forcing him to put on "know nots". If you look at tonight's show, this dude Gasporano knew nothing about the subject matter, and answered everyone of the Judge's questions with his own question. He is so damn stupid, he doesn't even know Ron Paul's name. I am writing to you, as I believe the Judge would have never entertained this guest on his own. Keep a good thing going, let the Judge go on his own.
You have a good thing going with the Judge's show... Please don't mess it up with throwing mental midgets in the mix. Put Gisporano (or whatever his name is) into sportscasting, as he certainly knows NOTHING about politics, or the state of the union."
Regards.

I'm glad the Judge has all these opposing views on, and isn't afraid to debate them right then and there... I think I could do better against Gasporino on the fed issue... but still well done.
I mean there's been worse, you've had Karl Rove and Bill Kristol on, who are much worse than Gasparino, I understand his position
If you work in the Finance which is fuled currently by credit markets, the absence of a fed would be frightening... it's logical, he just doesn't see the big picture or probably even heard anything about austrian economist
A+ for having the two most awesome black economists around (not that it matters, any, but it was great for bringing up the civil rights act)
I'm glad the Judge has had pretty much the entire GMU economics department on the show... but where's Russ Roberts, and Walter Block from Loyola needs his time to shine with the Judge

I think it is AWESOME that we have some amazing guys who actually understand these issues like sowell, williams, rockwell, ron paul, however, i think its great that we have opposing points like o'reilly, gasparino, and that blonde chick (heldman i believe?) and have a rational, logical discussion with them and proceed to tear their argument to shreds :D
This is how we win the minds of the average joes

Charlie Gasparino is a financial JOURNALIST. His job is to know just enough to make it sound like he really is a genius to the average person watching a business show. His economics knowledge is probably a mile wide and an inch deep. He might be good at getting ratings for his journalistic prowess but an economic analyst he isn't. To be fair, that is true of most of the talking heads in most news or business news organizations.

I saw it last night when he called Paul an extremist. Ive never like Gasparino even when he was at CNBS. He has always been a banker shill. He was right there defending the banksters and begging for bailouts during the crisis. Gasparino is summed up like this, pro war and pro bailout for banks and big corps, but anti anything else. Oh he doesnt think we should pay for any of this either.
I concur, Gasparino is not even knowledgable enought about opposing views to be on Freedom Watch.

I got the impression that the Judge doesn't fully understand the Fed, other than it's unconstitutional.
I wish he would've had someone on that is well versed in economics to debate the Gasp. The judge made it sound "extreme" in that he sounded as if he was advocating immediate abolishment of the Fed, and that was all the Gasp needed to make the argument sound whacky, although the Judge did correct him near the end by stating that you couldn't shut it down in one day...but that was after he let the Gasp go on for a bit.
Another thing the Judge said was that we would have to shut down the Fed to allow competing currencies, which isn't true. Competing currencies would compete WITH the paper dollar, right along side it...just by repealing legal tender laws. The Gasp didn't correct Judge on that point, which makes me wonder how much the Gasp understands the issue too.
Overall tho, loved the show, loved seeing in prime time, and thought the Gary Johnson interview was great.

when i heard Charlie Gasparino say "rand paul and that other guy from texas i think.." and the judge says, " his father, Ron Paul" i was like, wtf?
what an embarrassment, you could tell the judge wasn't impressed. i get the feeling gasparino is either family or sleeping with someone at Fox 'cause he brings nothing to the show and is totally out of his element.

Pit me against Gasparino, I'll shut him down, I train wall street guys, I get into debates with CEO's all the time.
Probably not proper for a young lad me to embarass big whigs... but I can't help it.

Gasparino should be tarred and feathered.

Gasparino 100% did that on purpose ("whatever his name is.. the Congressman from Texas") to get people, specifically Ron Paul supporters, pissed at him to generate interest in him.
Ignore him.

most people on wall street see the fed as part of the equation and while thye may be critical of it's actions, it wouldn't occur to most of them to get rid of it.
Gasparino is coming from the wall street perspective not an economist or something. It's a different universe.
He has on past shows said critical things about the Fed, particularly on systemic risk.
wall street is about charts and stocks and trends not these gigantic axiom ideas like ending the fed
