Romney still has basically 300 million cash on hand through his personal fortune.

As far as his campaign goes, he's a 3rd tier candidate with a 1st tier checkbook.

WOW. I can't believe Romney is that far in debt. I know he's just going to loan himself a ton of money, but you'd think all of his high-priced political consultants would have advised him that being in the red by millions of dollars at the end of the quarter is going to look badly on you?

That leaves Drop Dead Fred. Who seriously looks as if he could do so any day now... nothing personal.... but i can't imagine how that is going to help him garner more votes or contributions... he should have stayed "undeclared." I expect his fundraising to seriously drop off as the quarter wears on and more voters are exposed to him.

I wonder if they are going to point this out in the press conference?

Aside from showing that RP is third among the Republicans in COH minus debt (and not too far behind Thompson), the stats also underline the fact that a lot of the candidates spend money like big government.
