The author clearly comes from a different political perspective but at least values honesty.

Don't insult cats they are soft furry animals who catch rats and give affection to humans sometimes when they want to. Washington needs a few cats that's for sure.

My cat is smarter than most American politicians. She chases real vermin and usually catches them. This is as opposed to most politicians who squander the resources of America chasing cartoon characters with names like Ahmed and Osama.
