Check out this attack piece on her that ran before the primary. She won anyway.

She's a strong supporter of gun rights, favors drug decriminalization, opposes public funding of campaigns (which we have in CT), etc..

And she supports nullification!

Does she have a reasonable chance to win the general election?

Does she have a reasonable chance to win the general election?

A conservative Republican in CT has about as much chance of winning as a liberal Democrat running in Texas- in other words, no chance.

She's great, wish she could win... has Schiff endorsed her?

ACTUALLY, she has an EXCELLENT chance of winning! In the recent primaries, she won more votes than any other Republican candidate in Connecticut! She spent very little on advertising (compared to other candidates who spent multi-millions of dollars, and yet she beat them ALL! One of the great things about her is that she isn't taking the campaign finance funds (where the state uses taxpayer dollars to pay from 750K to $6 million on you campaign. Therefore she needs DONATIONS! Here is a link to her donation page where you can send in some financial help by credit card.

Martha Dean is the best chance in the whole U.S. to overtake a Democratic stronghold! (The CT AG has been held by the Democrats for over FIFTY years)

Lets all help Martha Dean!

Yes, I believe that he has. Plus he has maxed out his contribution for her ($2,000.00). Martha is the only statewide CT candidate that Peter has donated to! He's on board, so should we all be too!

Great news!
Are you with the Dean campaign?

No, just another supporter! I've already maxed out my contribution in tiny amounts (Whew! $2,000.00 in donations of $50.00 to $75.00 takes some time) I'm just trying to drum up some more support for he, and money as well! She is one of ther few CT candidates that is not asking the state to pay for her campaign. We should all appreciate that and send her some dough!

Thanks for posting this video about Martha. I am with the campaign and Ranger1111 is absolutely right. Martha has a good shot at winning AG in Connecticut.

Current AG Blumenthal is running for Senate (he has been AG for 20 years!). Linda McMahon will be spending well over $50 million of her own money raising issues about Blumenthal and his operation of the AG's office. This will likely indirectly benefit Martha in that Martha will not be like Blumenthal.

George Jepsen, her current opponent, is an insider and virtually unknown. He is part of the problem. He has promised to be just like Blumenthal.

51 years of one-party rule is enough and Martha is the candidate for change. On a media budget of $12,000, Martha garnered more votes than any other Republican candidate in the recent primary (by absolute numbers and percent) against a hand-picked insider, establishment Republican candidate.

I will keep you posted, but we need your help. Large donations are great -- www.marthadeanforattorneygeneral.com (http://www.marthadeanforattorneygeneral.com) -- but spreading the message by word of mouth to get small donations of $25 or $50 will be key. By reaching out to your friends who are Connecticut voters, Martha can win this with grassroots support.

I encourage you to contact the campaign if you can help in any way.

if blumenthal looses the senate race and in turn... martha dean wins the A.G position, is this all an upset? (INDEEDY YES!)
