It took less than an hour after Linda McMahon’s triumph in the Connecticut Republican primary election for Senate Tuesday night for Democrats to throw her past as a pro wrestling CEO in her face, in a volley of attacks that is unlikely to cease until election day in November.

Immediate bombardment after primary? Sound familiar?

she doesn't have a hope against the Dems

apart altogether from the fact that she is a liberal phony RINO...

from a purely pragmatic poit of view.....GOP voters are idiots for nominating a flawed candidate who cannot win.

The WWE dirt will sink her when it comes out...rampant steroids...soft porn sex themes for little kids to watch...vulgarity....wrestlers dying left and right ...her voilent psycho husband's rants etc.

This bitch has no shot.

Lets just hope she spends ridiculous amounts of money so she will not ever run again.

I'm going to say this, hopefully, for the last time:

Connecticut voters, Republican, Democrat, and independent alike, could care less about wrestling, and all of the social taboos that stem from it.

This isn't the bible belt, people.

like a very padded baseball umpire almost indirectly in a woman's lib way hands to
linda mcmahon a sarah palin toughness bordering on true rottweiler with lipstick!
the Democrats are idiots, the ad helped peter schiff get a name recogition past
the realms of finance driven uber geek. most folks have heard of blumenthal...

One could argue that she already served her purpose in guaranteeing that the liberals don't lose their seat in a very "off year" for them.

I'd be less than surprised to discover her decreasing her own spending dramatically.

Actually, she is NOT a "moderate" or "RINO"- certainly not by CT standards. Simmons was more the "moderate" or "RINO" choice.

You need to think about the state the candidate is running in. This is Connecticut, not Texas. The only way a Republican can win state wide election in CT (or any state in the NE, for that matter) is to run as a moderate- extreme fiscal conservatism and extreme social conservatism just don't fly in the NE.

The only chance McMahon has is to run for the center, not run further right.

Again, CT is NOT Texas or Alabama.

I'm glad to see some of the folks on this board "get it."

What's un-nerving is to see how commentators on the right are trying to spin McMahon's victory as a grass roots tea party sort of triumph over the vile Republican leadership.

Well the powers that be can't allow a quasi revolution to occur. That's why Ron Paul was stopped and also why Schiff was marginalised. They have to control the anger and subsume the Tea Party crowd into themselves.See Lindsey 'fawning creep' Graham jumping on board the 14th amendment bandwagon when it was a Rand Paul talking point and Graham had never heard of the 14th amendment a month ago.

ms. linda mcmahon has YET to TEA PARTY EXPRESS herself aptly so as to truely be a "momma grizzly" in full...
i feel she is about to contemplate what a few visits by sarah palin could do for her campaign kitty right now...
