Just so you know, it appears by the results that Mike Huckabee has more clout than Sarah Palin, at least in the GA GOP gubernatorial runoff:
Former Secretary of State Karen Handel was endorsed by Sarah Palin
Former U.S. Congressman Nathan Deal was endorsed by Mike Huckabee.
Deal won the runoff.
I know there are more factors, this was more just for fun. Georgia's gubernatorial GOP runoff has been one of the nastiest that I can remember. Of course, the GOP will ask its members to fall in lockstep for the good of the party, rally behind whatever lousy candidate floated to the top, and they will, except for a few who stand on principle ("we happy few, we band of brothers"); former governor Roy Barnes (D), who has thrown his hat into the ring to get back into the game, will end up as governor again.
In a lose-lose-lose situation, I'm still voting for John Monds.
