Blizzard just moved another notch up, if it was possible. :D I just happened to spot this when playing the "Media Blitz" map:

*EDIT* Found another building on the same map with a better illustration:

For those of you who won't play, the point of the map was (appropriately?) to take over the media communications buildings to be able to broadcast the truth.

I finished that map a few nights ago and noticed the same thing. There's even a mainstream media channel that you can watch on the ship and see how they spin the results of missions that you've just accomplished.

I think that's probably the funniest thing I've ever heard of in a video game....

It's small strategic anti-brainwashing placements like this that help to re-educate young minds as to the reality of the situation. How did this slip through the Zionist propaganda machine?

And I thought video games were completely useless.

StarCraft was a good game when it came out, and I'm looking forward to getting the sequel when I get my computer up to task. This makes me want the game even more!

How do the C&C and Red Alert games compare to Starcraft anyways? I've only played the former not the latter.

I liked Starcraft better, personally, though they're all fun. The story has some depth. Additionally, Starcraft's three sides are so insanely well balanced that the game is used as a competitive sport in South Korea. I've read reports that they have live matches displayed on big screens in an area, just like physical sports in the US. If true, that's pretty crazy. :)

Starcraft 2 is great! There are a lot of timely political messages throughout the game. Don't forget the whole title of the first installment: Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty.

To be fair I have not noticed it when playing the campaign. There are thousands of those buildings.

SC is more fast paced and there is no building interface. You build with workers. It is a good competition to C&C.

Final thoughts any gamers our there get SC2. There is an hour of cinematics, one of the greatest campaigns I played.

If you played the red alert series its not much of a jump. I feel like this game is a little bit faster paced because the community is so large and people play it a ton more. The premise is the same as red alert two and the gameplay is also similar. Just a change of units. The campaign is also fun. Game is smooooooth. Tech trees, macro building a base, map control/resource gathering, killing your opponent.

That trailer is awesome! (As is the game itself)

Amazing how seriously they take the game in Korea! I'm not anywhere near that level of ability... hehe...

When the game first came out, there was a huge argument on the Starcraft forums over which TV network was being parodied. Some people said FOX, others insisted it was MSNBC. To me it seems like they're all equally full of it, but unfortunately most of the posters went back into the false RvL paradigm. :(

This brings a question to mind. These games hold HUGE mind share and at least some of the companies who produce them appear not to have yet been co-opted by the elite. The rebel-nerd appears to be alive and well in those places.

Given this, if the liberty/fuck-the-government message continues or even ramps up, does anyone feel that the elite will perceive this as a possible threat? What if the message starts taking hold and makes itself felt in the political forum? Does anyone think that such companies could be targeted for cleansing?

Probably because the good guys are a world government organization.

This is one of the songs you can play on the jukebox on your ship. A small homage to the Old South. It's interesting that so many of the characters look like old Conferates; especially Raynor and Mengsk. I like their southern drawls.

They should've gotten "Renegade" by Warren Zevon on the jukebox. If they were shooting for a southern theme, this song was great. One of my favorites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8P6D7wujeU. That's the non-album version, the album version with full band isn't on YouTube. Great version, still.
