there HAS to be a way to show on the website that I like this idea. I canceled cable a good while ago.

a good first step would be to retweet as the Judge requests - shows support for the Judge and drums up promotion for the rebroadcast. Of course that only matters if you're already on twitter and have a few people who follow your account

I assume you mean the 8th? Even though I'd love for him to fill Hannity's spot tomorrow.

This is obviously a test run. From what I've heard, the ratings on FBN have been pretty good, so this is probably Fox testing the waters to see if the Judge has enough pull to move the show to Fox News in a permanent weekend slot.

EDIT:

I'm curious. Does anyone know if recording the show via DVR helps with the show's ratings? I've got my DVR set to record every episode of FW, but that's for my own convenience. How are ratings taken these days? Is it still via the clunkly old Nielsen boxes, or has something more modern replaced that nonsense?

DVR helps the ratings.

DVR helps the ratings.

Do you have a source for this? I'm not trying to be an ass, I'm really curious, because I've heard different things about this. I would love to be able to point people to a source when the subject pops up again. :)

If I Am Not a Nielsen Family is My DVR Viewing Counted

No. Nielsen’s DVR numbers are national projections based on the National People Meter panel which is about 20,000 homes (and ~50,000 people). At least theoretically “people like you” are represented in the Nielsen panel. It could be your DVR, Cable or Satellite provider does collect your data, but that data isn’t part of the Nielsen time-shifted DVR ratings.

In other words, if you don't have the device that records the count and sends it back to Nielsen, nothing you watch is counted.

Not true, in the tivo privacy policy they state they collect information (not specific to you).

You can bet they sell the statistics. And I bet they know if you actually watched the show vs. just recording it.

And you know that some advertisers are paying to know if people are fast forwarding through their commercials. And they will use that information to try to catch your attention somehow, and / or while you FF past, then you rewind just to look.

Yes, the advertisers will get more annoying as they figure that out.

In the dish network guide it is entitled "The Fight to Control Congress."

Freedom watch is emblazoned on the screen during the show.

It's on again at 11PM EST, Sunday night.

I just watched the show on Fox News, its one of the best I've seen so far from this Judge. Although I would like to see more educational pieces or investigative reporting than talking heads on.
