He is the best of the bunch although I do have to admit that I think Akers had the best answer to the immigration issue in the Seattletimes interview with the three GOP candidates. His position is going to hurt him even on the east side due to a fair number of hispanic voters.
Also his position on global warming/environment "trust God created a perfect system", will hurt him as well.

I'll still vote for him, but I'd like for him to revise his position on those two issues.

Or he could go up against Maria Cantwell. That was what I had heard was the possible move if unsuccessful this go around. However, I really hope he succeeds. I think this race will be a lot closer than the Rossi camp is expecting.

Didier is one of many candidates who get lost here in the shuffle of minarchist/anarchist debates, immigration discussions, and hysteria over the most recent Glenn Beck comment. I've been ranting and raving about getting behind some of these candidates, with limited success to say the least. It took nearly two months of constant updates, reminders, and thread bumping for the few people here who were promoting Justin Amash to get anyone else to care - and even still, most people still didn't care until they saw his name in the election results with a checkmark next to his name.

Akers is for war. i'm selling Didier in Redmond as the anti-war guy. i can't think of a more important issue here and now.

Not to mention he did not show up at the "Patriot Coalition" rally before the state convention, when Rossi and Didier did. I have also heard that he actually admits to liking Bush.
