TN-CFL State Coordinator Wins Election on TNGOP Executive Committee

The Tennessee Campaign For Liberty State Coordinator, Justin McCord, has won a seat on the Republican Party of Tennessee's State Executive Committee!


According to my calculations he won the seat by 111 votes against incumbent Steve Allbrooks who is a strategist for Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn.

I’ll take Joe K’s word that Steve Allbrooks was a decent guy. But as the saying goes “All that is required for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing”. The GOP exec committee should have reigned in the witch hunt against someone who’s only “crime” was to point out what a sorry congressman Zack Wamp was. Forget the bailout, Zack Wamp voted for President Obama’s “cash for clunkers” program? (Hmmm…that vote wouldn’t be linked to a certain Wamp backer being a big time car dealer would it?) Zack Wamp’s political career is (hopefully) effectively over now. No I’m not crazy about Haslam either. But Wamp was the worst possible option. If Matt Collin’s refusal of a handshake had anything to do with Wamp’s downfall then it was all worth it.
