Ok, good to know. This should be good!
I don't know much about Bret Baier. Has anyone here seen him in action? Does he seem to be a fair interviewer?

From what I've seen of Baier, he seems very neutral and fair.

Bret Baier's interview with Obama was a bit confrontational, proof that he can be aggressive if he wants to be. I hope his conversation with Peter goes well.

Oh well, I expect Peter to be able to handle himself no matter what. I don't think this guy is going to be able to make Peter look bad.

I don't get cable; is there a live stream of this program anywhere online, by chance?

Not sure, but Fox tends monitor and shut down websites who stream their channel. They are hard to find.

EDIT: ...unless you are MRoCkEd, I found out!

I'm guessing it will be a general piece about the CT senate race, rather than some exclusive interview with Peter.

Nooo! they did not let him speak. His words sway hearts. At least they showed part of his ad.

I just watched the segment and they briefly interviewed Simmons rather than Schiff.

No mention of him winning the Tea Party endorsement, the Forbes endorsement, or the actual CONTENT of the ad.

Great reporting, Fox.

they are really using that poll as a weapon today on the news channels, showing both Peter as having a measly percentage and Mcmahon closing on Blumenthal. They know well that many people like to cast their vote for a person that "has a shot" at winning

Ya, they would never mention the damning part that shows her attending the DNC and donating to democrats

Heh, and my phone rang right after the segment and it was Linda McMahon on the line for a conference call. Someone asked her about the Schiff ad and she said she was "annoyed by it" and talked about how she would have reluctantly supported TARP thinking it would be different, and opposes how it turned out.

She probably called all registered Republicans..

I get calls from McMahon and her people almost daily.

I was disappointed in the piece, but I guess it's coverage nonetheless.

It's called a tele town hall. Peter does them quite often as well.

Can we take use these calls someway to promote Schiff ?

Maybe we could argue weak leadership and understanding of the problem. Peter is on the record warning well in advance that bailouts would be a disaster. Also, the public generally opposed the bailouts (starting under Bush) and Congress didn't listen. Linda really wants to justify that position?

Might also be able to demonstrate Linda as a RINO. Don't know what CT Republicans think of RINOs though. But Fox News might be more sympathetic if the message resonates. I get the sense that FNC and their viewers don't like Olympia Snowe much and are having buyers remorse with Scott Brown.
