Goes to show that the attacks on liberty-seeking folks by the corporate controlled media goes back further than modern times.

I may have my disagreements with the John Birch Society on a few issues, but this film outright attacks them with complete falsehoods.

From the storied archives of The John Birch Society (http://www.jbs.org/)...

Robert Welch's bulletin of February 28, 1959 (http://affleck.dlinkddns.com:3000/jbslibroot/Bulletin/1959/195903.pdf) to chapter leaders in the greater Boston area of the newly formed John Birch Society:

Sidebar: Longtime members of The John Birch Society (http://www.jbs.org/) are really having some fun with their friends and neighbors, who suddenly want to hear what we've been saving for over half a century. Having gone from vilification to vindication, our members are now spending their days sounding like the Verizon pitch man, "Can you hear me now?"
