Apparently the SEC is exempt from Freedom of information Act in the new financial reform bill.
I recall a Freedom of Information Act being filed against the SEC after 9/11 to see who had hedged against the airline industry in the days and weeks before, the SEC responded by saying that those documents had been destroyed.
Anyone else recall that?
