Using the contributions by date pages, here are published totals for April-September. Note that the listed figures are only ~50% of the totals due to small donations not being itemized.

Apr $125k
May $489k
Jun $673k
Jul $453k
Aug $722k
Sep $1.484m

Q2 was a bit of an aberration, because we were barely a blip on the radar in April. I don't think it's realistic for the last month of the quarter to be 538% the first month of the quarter. However, looking at Q3, note that September was 327% of July's total. This is why I haven't been that concerned about being below-pace for our Q4 goal this early in the month -- we've shown a phenomenal ability to grow by the end of the quarter.

We're 15 days through Q4. How have the first 15 days of Q2 and Q3 compared with the Q2 and Q3 totals?

Listed fundraising, April 1-15: $50,524
Listed fundraising, Q2: $1,286,605
First 15 days as a % of Q2: 3.9%

Again, Q2 is an exaggeration because momentum didn't really build until after the Rudy/Ron skirmish in May.

Listed fundraising, July 1-15: $225,176
Listed fundraising, Q3: $2,569,781
First 15 days as a % of Q3: 8.8%

First 15 days in Q4: $927k
If $927k is 8.8% of Q4, that means Q4 will be...$10.5mln

And of course, the $927k is just online.

So even though it looks like we're behind, if the past couple quarters are any indication that growth will come.
