I noticed today that North Carolina's 4th district isn't included in the list of available House seats on Real Clear Politics (http://realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2010/house/2010_elections_house_map.html). The district isn't identified as an open Democratic seat nor is it identified by probable outcome (likely Democratic, tossup, leans Republican, etc.) Are they calling it a "Safe Democratic"? Why no mention?

They are only polling stuff that the mainstream see's as "in play". Based on past performance the NYT had us as "in play", which is appropriate. Once you look at registration you start to get a little scared until you realize that all the registration advantage is coming from under performing voters like college kids.

This election will be drastically different, they just can't call it like that this far out.
