Does anyone have an exact calendar? It seems 2012 will basically be the same as 2008, because the "Ohio Plan" didn't pass.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:The_Ohio_Plan.svg

(1) No primary, caucus, or convention to elect, select, allocate, or bind delegates to the national convention shall occur prior to [Tuesday March 6, 2012]. Except New Hampshire, South Carolina, Iowa and Nevada may begin their processes at any time on or after [Wednesday] February 1 [2012].
(2) Any presidential primary, caucus, convention, or other meeting held for the purpose of selecting delegates to the national convention which occurs prior to [Sunday April 1, 2012], shall provide for the allocation of the delegates selected on a proportional basis.

As far as I can tell, 2012 will be just as messed up as 2008's primary season...I'm wondering if that proportional "suggestion" will be enforced. Basically meaning, states going before April 1st will have their delegates awarded proportional to vote. That would ROCK!! Yeah, state A, you want to go so "early", no problem, your delegates will be proportional to the vote. That's nice. Ron Paul would get delegates!!!

Iowa straw poll will be summer of 2011.

That's huge, and Bush won it in 2000.

Paul can dominate in the caucuses which can be some major delegates.

Iowa, NH, NV, and SC FTW!
