Maybe somebody else has had this too, but I was thinking about what will become of us after Ron Paul wins the election. Obviously we will have to start the fight again about 2 years later when a neocon attempts to unseat President Paul in the Republican primary but there is something greater for this "remnant" that we are to accomplish and I think this simple idea could be paramount.

The Ron Paul Caucus of the Republican Party.

Think about this. We currently have the Republican Liberty Caucus but what have they become? They haven't even endorsed Ron Paul which would have seemed like the obvious as soon as the announcement was made by Dr. Paul. They've also lost their way. I'd say very few of us have joined the RLC after becoming Ron Paul Republicans too.

Now how many of you, would join the Ron Paul Caucus with the goal of getting Ron Paul Republicans elected into Congress, or even officials at ANY level of government.

I think just the name recognition of the Ron Paul Caucus in itself would have people scrambling to join. We do not have this name recognition with the RLC even if they didn't lose their way. The Libertarian Party has something similar with the Rothbard Caucus: http://www.lprc.org/

I'm not sure what is necessary to start a caucus with the Republican Party, but I can see this really motivating the huge REVOLUTION and keep this movement going until we take back Congress as well. I would GLADLY contribute money towards the campaign, and even the local meetup group, of a Ron Paul Republican running ANYWHERE in the country and certainly this type of support would get a number of these candidates elected.

Somebody who knows the details of such things like this, PLEASE, make the Ron Paul Caucus happen!!!

This is NOT the "Ron Paul Caucus". I think you need to read my first post, I already addressed this.

C'mon, isn't there anybody else here that SEES where I'm going with this idea?

What do we do after Ron Paul is elected? Continue to educate the masses and get more people into Congress that are as close to principle and ideals as Ron Paul is so that Ron Paul has the support he needs to make the changes happen. We need to do this now too.

You guys are missing the point here. It's not a matter of NEED vs. WANT, it's a matter of reality.

Read the following article: http://www.lewrockwell.com/north/north576.html

If the 50,000 meetup group members fizzle and fade away than we do NOT take back Congress. If we KEEP these 50,000 meetup groups active and motivated in the Republican Party we can accomplish this. Being a member of the "Ron Paul Caucus" would essentially be the way to keep this going in the name and honor of Ron Paul who is leading this revolution.

I guess there's something about an internet post vs. telling somebody this in a conversation. All of the leaders and long-time activists I've told this idea too understood this but are not sure how to form a national caucus.

So again I ask, HOW DO YOU FORM A NATIONAL CAUCUS WITHIN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY?

Ask the Republican Party how to do it?
