I have to hand it to them. They are doing something all of the other states should be doing.

I like AZ and I support them in what they are doing. They are becoming a real beacon for states rights.

We still have tons of city speed cameras (we only got rid of the highway ones) though, but it's a start.

Pro-Education:

Nope, sorry.
Arizona is certainly pro-schooling and probably therefore pro-pedagogy.
How efficiently they run their statist indoctrination prisons has little bearing on whether they are pro-education.

If they get rid of their state income tax, I will consider it as a destination considering I love heat and would like the warmer weather.

You can have that 120 degrees in summer.

You seemed to overlook the small component of the Arizona immigration law that turned all Arizona licenses into national ids.

National IDs = gun registration.

You overlooked that one too.

I had a feeling you weren't reposting a JBS article about pro-marijuana

The JBS views Marijuana as a states issue.

This article below, from the John Birch Society, points out that the Founding fathers grew Hemp.

Okay??

Nanny State Targets Tobacco (http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/usnews/congress/1252)

Drawing parallels between government prohibition of marijuana with the new legislation and the resulting black market, Dr. Paul warned about the threat of a new black market for tobacco. In addition, Paul reminded Americans (http://www.house.gov/htbin/blog_inc?BLOG,tx14_paul,blog,999,All,Item%20not%20 found,ID=090615_2978,TEMPLATE=postingdetail.shtml) of their fleeting freedoms as compared to the founding generation.

Hemp and tobacco were staple crops for our Founding Fathers when our country was new. It is baffling to see how far removed from real freedom this country has become since then. Hemp, even for industrial uses, of which there are many, is illegal to grow at all.

Arizona has a charter school system. Parents can send their children to private charter schools of their choice and direct the public money that would have gone to the public school to the charter school. It is very easy to start a charter school. The program has been very successful.

Not as good as getting government out entirely, but at least people have an alternative.

Any of you patriots interested in moving to Arizona just let me know. I'll help you in anyway I can.

we can start a charter school that teaches liberty and austrian economics.

If you like the outdoors, it can't be beat.

AZ has highway patrol everywhere. And they will get in your blind spot and clock you to make sure you aren't going a mile over the limit, even on an empty stretch of road. I've never seen such a saturation in any other state.
