Has anyone else heard about this?

I'm also trying to figure out how to watch fox news online live streaming (is it possible)? I never watch Fox, so this might be a rumor.

Hahaha. For once I would love to see someone on Fox dedicate a whole show to how much of a screw up Bush was and how he was advocate of big government. Maybe the Judge will do it, but it doesn't seem to be his style. If Glenn Beck did it he could change the world.

Was Bush's big government past as apparent as Obama's?

oh we're going to do one of those things where we ignore current president and talk about how bad the previous one was? History channel has some excellent documentaries on the Nazis- they are not a laughing manner. I've seen plenty of stuff on the Bush's as well.

I certainly don't think so; I was one of the fresh 18 year olds who fell for his "Don't police the world, don't nation build, humble foreign policy, less government" whom ending up making me /facepalm around 2003 when I realized he was going to implement the exact opposite of what he preached. I wish I had heard of Ron Paul when I was a teen.

no, Bush came from a country club Republican background. internationalist-yes; but his 2000 rhetoric was much like Reagan. Chaney, however, was a big govt man always, and was one of the few Republicans to support Carter's draft registration in 1980.

nope, i just think it is good to remind folks that we are not just obama bashers! when talking to others republican, indy or dem. we should be expressing our distaste for both of them! you get further in discussions and debating .when they know your not just bashing obama but also calling out the bushies(failed gop establishment)!!!

i find it helps open the door to more discussion instead of just waving the bash obama flag!! I find it very helpful to let folks know we do not like either of them!

fox should run a show bashing the neo-cons. fox is just playing on the obama bashing nothing more. foxs job is to keep the republicans and indys marching to the neo-con drums!! i would ask fox news if obama is a registered republican and when is fox willing to fix the screwed up gop!!! instead of deflecting the problem away from the problem(gop)with obama!

Heck, I'm all for bringing back the draft, with all members of the senate and house's kids being the first drafted and placed into infantry. Then the rest of the country.

That will end uneccesary wars in a heartbeat, if the people who vote for wars have to put their own flesh and blood on the front lines, they will think twice and make sure the war is absolutely necessary, before they vote for war, unless they have rotten kids.

I was talking about the Bush administration. I dont think we need to blame Bush for all of our ccurent problems, but if someone like Beck talked about how Bush wasn't a true advocate of small government then I feel less people would blindly follow republicans and there would be a much better understanding of what "small government" really is.

Oh, yes - because having the draft before obviously put an end to all unnecessary wars(Korean war, Vietnam war).

Apart from the moral problems with a draft, this argument I keep hearing as justification for the draft is absurd.

He was making the point that our legislators would be less likely to start an unneccessary war and/or draft if their kids had to be drafted before anyone else's.

You missed the most important part,

The children of politicians must be the first to be drafted before anyone else, and they will have to serve in infantry.

Let the people who vote for war put their own children's life on the line first before they ask anyone else to put their child's life on the line.

That is what I AM advocating.

Thank you for taking the time to read my posts and understand what I AM Advocating unlike sentinet void. I am sick of this war garbage, politicians should have to put their own kids life on the line before they ask any other family to put their kids life on the line.

So what you are advocating is punishing children for the sin's of the father? Is that correct? Do you think it just for you to be punished for any of your parents' sins?
