So I started reading this book (pg 30 or so) and damn if it just seems to be running in the red the whole time. It doesn't slow down, just a high-octane fueled read so far. It seems to be one of those books I'll have to read a few times to get the majority of what it said.

That's right. The category they have it in is Literature & Fiction. That doesn't make any sense. If it were categorized under Politics in Nonfiction, then even now, when it's well past its peak, it would still be the #2 book in Politics and the #9 book in all Nonfiction.

We should email Amazon to get them to fix the category so that it shows how well it's really doing compared with other political books. Also, if you haven't bought it yet, don't think that it's too late just because the book bomb was yesterday. Your purchase now will still help it stay up there in the Amazon rankings.

That is saying a lot because I'm including used books from Ebay and B&N. Somebody just chucked American Empire in a huge box with no shrink wrap or padding or anything. Obviously the book bounced around while in transit because the covers were mildly mangled.

Does Amazon store and ship books? Or did CFL ship these out? If it was CFL, and you guys are reading this, put the book in a smaller package, shrink wrap the book, or put bubble wrap and newspaper around the book.
