Whoa. This is unexpected. I always assumed that Obama pretty much does whatever the Fed wants him to do. Does this mean he's going to backpedal and recommend renewing the tax cuts?

Tax cuts are good, but the Bush tax cuts weren't even that great. If you're looking for more bang for the buck, you need to work on cutting corporate, capital gains, and payroll taxes (in that order).
