What is their definition of "child porn" ??

I'll bet if they gave us the # of personell, and the % accessing 16, 17 yr olds vs 14 and 15 yr olds vs under 14, i imagine people wouldn't be as shocked..

Few here believe children should have the same rights as adults.

18 is obviously just an arbitrary number, but whatever age they decide should be the age where people are legally old enough to make their own choices and can give their own consent.

Sorry you are right. Children have rights. It's only animals that have zero rights. After all aren't living breathing animals just property? You know the same as a car?

You are never, ever, ever, ever going to convince me or most rational people than a 17 year old involved in porn is just as bad as an 8 year old.

Show me the victim? As Wikileaks has documented, some of these girls are happy participants. Also documented, a lot (The vast majority of non-entrapment sites)) of this is completely legal pics of overage teens that look young.

Again, who has been victimized? Even if they are 16? The diff between a willing participant and an unwilling one is BLATANTLY obvious,,,

Age of consent and age you can photograph yourself nude or having sex are not the same. In this state, the former is 16 and the latter 18. Yeah, I know - it's total BS

I re-read the OP and there are a bunch of things in there, I simply do not believe...

The ppl involved held high level security clearances... - and they passed the lifestyle polly how? That says tons about our clearance procedures.

they were STUPID enough to access such material over a DoD network - don't they know that those things are monitored? - I mean it only says so in big bold letters on the start page of every DoD site you access.

There are pay kiddy porn sites??? - news to me. In everything I've read on the topic I've never seen mention of a "pay" KP site - outside of the Keez site that was years ago and ppl were swept up based on payment records.

These "Intelligence professionals" were STUPID enough to provide billing info to such a site that would lead directly back to them... uh, hu... Riiiiiggghhhtttt!!!!!!!

Geeze, these are the ppl that are suposidly "protecting us" from the teeeaaarrooorriiissttssss - I feel safer already! :rolleyes:
