I just thought this quote of his fits what we're trying to do:

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex... It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction.

The fools being the big-Government types in Washington.. Always thinking they have the answer by creating more bureaucracy.

The genius being Libertarians. :)

and obviously the courage to move in the opposite direction being our movement to reduce the size of Government.

An excellent quote and an excellent thought! Outstanding.

The people we've been sending to D.C. over the last several decades (with a few notable exceptions) are like those who repaint their houses without scraping off the old paint first. They never seem to be able to understand why, after all their hard work, the house looks like crap! And, of course, they blame everyone and everything but themselves when the paint they spread so liberally falls off prematurely...

for clarity, that should be libertarians. There is a disturbing amount of big government Libertarians, especially in the beltway.:p

Wasn't Einstein a socialist?

According to Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Einstein

] In a 1949 Monthly Review article entitled “Why Socialism?” Albert Einstein described a chaotic capitalist society, a source of evil to be overcome, as the “predatory phase of human development".

And socialism isn't predatory?

Wasn't Einstein a socialist?

And if not for his letters to President Roosevelt, 4 in all, encouraging the production of the a-bomb, it may well not have been ready in time for use in the war.

And socialism isn't predatory?

Lulz. Nah, Stalinism wasn't predatory at all. At least no more so than a pride of lions...
