Much as I’d like to think some people on the Left might reject knee-jerk nationalism, articles like this one (http://www.gazette.com/news/spirit-101815-noreen-storied.html) are all too typical. Let me paraphrase: nullification (which the poor guy can’t even define) and rebellion are wicked. Cut it out. Obey your overlords. You are born to be ruled. And forget that “question authority” thing — where’d you get that?
Oh, and he’s thought of a new twist on the zombie video: Calhoun, Calhoun, Calhoun (even though Jefferson was the main originator of the idea, which is why Andrew Jackson referred to it as the “Virginia Doctrine”).
