Today is tax day

For those of us who filed for an extension...

Mine is due today, I just looked over what my accountant sent me last week and discovered he made a mistake that cost me over $15k...dumbass. Now I need to file, pay a whole lot, then submit a corrected return and wait to get my money back.

Fun stuff.

Anyway...some slim jims at the post office today might not be such a bad idea.

No new extensions...

In the past, a taxpayer could file for a 3-month extension on Tax Day, then file for another extension when that one expired. The IRS consolidated this into one extension that expires 10/15.
