Just let them try. If Obama makes any moves towards more federal gun laws, Republicans and tea partiers will get even more fired up. I don't except anymore legislation out of dems until the elections unless they really think they will be taken down come November. In that case they might try to ram through as much as possible for some reason..

My first reaction?

Who the hell is Mike Smegma, errr, Smerconish?

A quick trip to his web site answered that, an establishment "insider" and "middle of the roader".

Not a surprise that he is in favor of government restrictions.
