Looks like the rebellion just wants to be a part of the ruling class.

It is not surprising that the Tea Party is collapsing. They are not based on any solid ideals, they are just based on "GOP will solve our problems" and "We hate Obama." Actually, a major collapse of the "tea party" would be good, maybe we could win back those who were lured over soon after their eyes were opened. Show them what real principles and ideals are.

Tea Party Federation? Umbrella organization? lol what the centralization? When will people realize that labels exist to be hijacked and named groups exist to be co-opted. I hope the "Tea Party" label implodes sooner rather than later, so that well-intentioned individuals might stop being deceived into believing that it serves any purpose other than facilitating the manipulation of the ideas of the dissenters and the disenfranchised in this country.

Hmmmm...

Federation spokesman David Webb said Sunday that Williams’s letter was “clearly offensive” and indicated that because of those comments, the Tea Party Express and the dozens of large rallies featuring the likes of former Alaska GOP Gov. Sarah Palin would no longer have a place in the movement.

This Mark Williams guy should have been ousted when he made all his "Muslims are evil" comments. But he wasn't because a large chunk of Americans and tea partiers hate Muslims.

His most recent racist letter pissed a lot more people off because for the most part Americans are not racist. His letter was clearly offensive and I'm glad he got canned.

Have you taken part in your local "tea party" groups and tried to steer them in the correct direction? It is possible. You show up and talk, you are likely to be the most informed person there, they listen to those people.
