This is awesome! If turnout is the same as 2008, we will only need ~75,000 to win the primary. I would like to know if this had an effect on polls.

EDIT: The Quinnipiac poll (http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x1296.xml?ReleaseID=1477) taken before these calls shows that almost 40% of McMahon supporters and almost 50% of Simmons supporters might switch before the primary. These phone calls might actually make the difference.

So if about 100,000 is going to vote in in the primaries, is it safe to say that were half way there?

Just because someone has been called it doesn't mean that they're actually going to go vote for Peter.

Well, if there are about 400,000 registered republicans (is that right?), it means only 1/4 of the people will vote, which also means that 3/4 of the people we talk to probably won't vote. We need to talk to every registered republican, multiple times.

Like Peter said, we need about 1.2 million calls to talk to everyone 3 times. Not to mention that a lot of the time no one picks up and we get no voicemail, so we need to make multiple calls to make sure we actually do talk to everyone we call.

My understanding is that it's closer to 500,000 now.

this is why we need a forum mass message and a banner at the top of the forum!

Is it just cuz noones designed a banner? We need everyone to be thinking of Schiff and phonecalls for the next couple of weeks.

I think it is just lack of activism. Lots of people are making calls though. Please help out!
